I know a lot of people consider "frustration" to be an inherently bad quality to be associated with videogames. That hasn't made too much sense to me; generally, any frustration experienced in a game is more than redeemed by the satisfaction of beating what was frustrating.

While you feel a great sense of accomplishment by beating something frustrating, many people won't give the time needed to beat something frustrating, especially if the only thing you can do is hope you win. I remember that minigame, but I can't remember if I ever got extremely frustrated by it, which was why I was willing to keep at it.

Something can be difficult, but not frustrating. If you're having fun even though you're losing, isn't it better than not having fun and losing? You still feel satisfied when you beat it. Isn't the journey more important the destination?

I added a few emblems to my custom ship on F-Zero GX.
