Hope you enjoy X-2, Tweeter. Its got a very different feel to it, but I'm glad I bought it. It was nice to see the job system used again, especially. I don't mind the lighthearted feel to most of the story, but I wish it would focus more than it does on the search for Tidus and the other important events with New Yevon and the Youth League. Because when it does so, its very interesting. On the other hand though, I haven't played the first game in a year or more. The first one was so entertaining (at least in my opinion) that the sequel might seem worse in comparison, playing it right afterwards. The music is just plain bad, unfortunately.

Anyway, I finished the events in Leblanc's base (the comical villians return again). The dungeon part was pretty simple, but the random battles were excessive, and they didn't even give many experience points. Got really annoying. I got stuck at a locked door, but then found that there were three hidden switches to hit. Took me about 20 minutes to actually figure it out. The boss fight was harder than some of the ones before, as it was all three of these villians at once. I would use dispel on one, then attack and Firaga to beat it.

The next mission seems a little more serious, possibly the first introduction of the main villians coming up soon. And I was wrong before... this is still considered chapter 2. I'm about 39% complete.

I read earlier how to get the good ending. The requirements seem pretty unusual, but maybe they'll make more sense later. Don't think I would've figured it out on my own and that would've been disappointing.
