I started Jak and Daxter, but only played a little bit. Just got used to the controls. Really nice camera system and visuals. And its nice to have a game where the main character doesn't yell every time you press the jump button. I also noticed that there's a character named Kiera.

I played some of DBZ: Budokai today, too. I like it so far.

You have access to story mode, which follows the show from the beginning through the end of the Cell saga. It also seems to have the same voice actors as the show, which is a big plus. You seem to gain access to more attacks as the story mode continues, and you sometimes play as different characters. I played through the first saga, which is through Goku's first battle with Vegita. I have it on an easy setting, since I'm terrible at fighting games, but even I found it a little too easy to progress. I'll have to change the setting later. Moves are easy to pull off, and the game tells you how to do them, rather than making you try and figure it out yourself. Another great thing for those who aren't frequent fighting game players. Probably a serious problem for the experts, though, as they're also quite easy to do (so far). Progressing in the story mode also unlocks stuff for other parts of the game.

There's a Duel mode, which is a basic quick battle against the computer or another player. You can use any character that's been unlocked.

There's also a tournament mode which I haven't tried yet. But I know its the main gameplay choice after story mode is completed. It lets you unlock a lot more stuff if you do well with it.

After reading all the reviews saying how poor the graphics were, I actually found them pretty impressive. Characters are very true to the show, and the backgrounds aren't that bad. It doesn't look like "just a nice PS1 game" as some have said. At least not in my opinion.
