I played some more of Chrono Trigger, but like before, I'm really taking my time. I went to Guardia castle in 600 AD to progress the story, and beat the bosses in the start of the Cathedral. Once Frog joined, I went back to the forest to learn another couple of techs. I had forgotten somewhat how the tech system was setup, but its pretty clear now.

As far as what I was saying about Chrono Cross in another thread, silly as it may seem, I'm just not willing to consider that game part of the CT storyline. Maybe a kind of what-if scenario, but nothing more. It takes away from the ending(s) and the story overall if you factor in that everything you did ends up being pretty much for nothing and that the characters don't get to have any real peace.
