Beat Final Fantasy Legend II. I didn't want to, but I had to look up an FAQ on how to beat Apollo. I also didn't realize there was an Excalibur weapon in the game, so I used the FAQ to find it. I gave it to Ladd. I then gave Dad and Rika Heal Rods, went back to Apollo and then...

..that was really gross...

Excalibur came in extreme handy. Combined with Ladd's strength, Infinite uses, and the occasional (and somewhat frequent) Strength boosts it gives, he could kill an entire team of damn near almost anything with it (I think the Paladins and the Musashis were the only thing he couldn't OHKO with it). But thanks to his terrible Mana rating (only 15 or something), the final boss took him down shortly after the Smasher Beam mode. The only person standing was Rika, because the Smasher Beam wasn't doing a damn thing to her and her 74 Mana rating.

I'll probably replay this game, dumping the Robot (Robo) for a Mutant Male, perhaps. And I'm pondering whether to keep the Monster (I chose the Imp, so I named him "Grem". Probably would have called him "Giz" had I thought about it). I'd like to have a Team that I can raise "normally", plus run around and power up (I personally LIKED fighting a lot in this game, except in the Final Dungeon)

Fun Cat Fact of the Moment:

Despite writing a gruesome tale of cat mutilation called The Black Cat, Edgar Allen Poe adored cats.
