Well, I did make a lot of progress with Star Trek Elite Force 2. I stopped playing UT 2003 so I could focus on it for a while.

I've finished three main levels now (A Borg Sphere, an abandoned starship, and a space station under attack), with some exploration of Starfleet and the Enterprise E, as well as training sequences inbetween.

It's not an easy game at all on Average difficulty, but you can save whenever you want. It's pretty typical FPS stuff for the most part, with lots of aliens to fight and traps to hurt you, but the overall story is decent so far... and there is a tiny bit of exploration/puzzle solving in each main level... it's not just nonstop action like Quake or UT.

Graphics are amazing considering my PC's specs, and the voice acting is satisfactory. Sounds like they got Patrick Stewart to voice Picard in this one.

I think it's a better game than Halo so far... so is UT 2003 for that matter. So is just about every other FPS I've played.
