I played a little more Darkwatch, and I'll attempt to get a bit farther later on if I have time.

I haven't really gone into any detail, so...

The game starts off on a train. As I recall, you're trying to rob it. But you end up releasing a vampire dude. This is really just the area to get to know the controls.

You and some woman, who's with the group Darkwatch or something (aren't you glad I paid attention and got all the details?), and you escape together on horses.

At this point, you fight undead enemies riding other horses. You can move the horse a little bit, but mainly, you're just looking for things to shoot. You can also lean over the side to use it as a shield. I guess horses in this game are invincible or something.

After a while Vampire dude himself attacks you. You basically just keep shooting at him and dodging an energy attack he does.

Then you end up in a graveyard, and you have to go through a structure, and then there's more graveyard.

There's really nothing remarkable about the actual levels, very straightforward stuff so far.

Things I've encountered so far... there's the weak skeleton enemies that don't have firearms. Very simple. Then there's enemy gunslinger guys. Tougher, since you can't just stay back and slowly take them out. But they don't do too much damage. There are also these flying female demon things that are kind of challenging. The first battle is one on one, but then you get to fight two at once. They have these energy attacks, that they fire rapidly, and it's tough when both are coming at you at the same time. I saw these fat demon things... they were spitting something at me. Poison, vomit, whatever, you have to dodge that while attacking from a distance. They're fast too, it was hard keep them from getting too close.

I've had two opportunities to do evil vampire things (drinking blood) which contribute toward giving you new abilities. Sparing people would give you a different set of powers.

Now I've been thrown into a mine which starts the next chapter.
