I played a bit more Mario Sunshine.

I nearly have the first world cleared out. I think I'm missing one blue coin there (I found 19), but otherwise have all the shines, including the 100 coin shine and the two shines for beating the platforming stages with a time limit.

I have 52 Shines total.

(I may have said this before, but since it was probably lost in EzApocalypse, I can repeat it) This game might have the greatest disparity between its good and bad parts of any game I've played.

I might go so far as to even say that the platforming stages are (what I constantly denied of Super Mario 64) sort of like "Mario in 3D".

On the other hand, there are so many annoyances. I hate the way you have to get Yoshi. You have to bring him a random fruit, for some stupid reason. In the second stage, there's a fruit factory, and if you pound it, a random piece of fruit comes out. You just have to keep doing that until the piece that he wants is available. Who's dumb idea was that?
