I tried the PS2 version of X-Men Legends.

It seems the exact same, except the graphics aren't as crisp and the sound effects are muffled. The FMVs are noticeably more jagged, and some of the scenery twitches. A crosswalk was moving as I passed it, and part of the rooftops at the end was wiggling. Punches sound like people are hitting wood rather than flesh and bone, and some of the voice acting sounds like it was done through an amateur microphone. And I got so used to the GCN's controls that I'm having trouble with this one.

I was thinking about replaying the game and channeling all my stat points into Strike and Agility to see how powerful I could make the characters, but now I'm not sure which version I want to do it on. I'd like to see what else is different on the PS2 version, yet at the same time it feels like I'd be wasting my time.

I looked at GameInformer's actual review of this. Holy shit, they barely talked about the gameplay. They basically just ranted about how an X-Men geek was going to fall over in glee at it.
