shadowrun:
oh great, i found a bug in the game. and i thought all sega games(at least the ones ive played) were bug-free. i hired winston permanently, but after i fired ratman, and hired waking bear on temp, the game somehow thought that winston was also temp hired. that's 1650 nuyen down the wash. bugger. maybe i should go back to doing low-level matrix runs. but damn, they take too long, even with frameskip. the cyber battle take too long. and occasionally a cyber battle ends up with a tarpit eating my attack prog. oh damn, have i mentioned that already. damn tarpits. grrr... stick with courier/bodyguard runs for easier/faster money. faster runs, faster karma earned. those hellhounds in ghoul shacks still kick my ass. i feel like staying in the starter town till i max out all my attributes THEN work on my skills.

"the game":
feel like re-playing starflight 2, just to chat with the dweenles ,while listening to sad bloke songs by arab strap , just to see if the depressing result would make me write more post-modernist crap or finish my short story. urm... gotta visit my grandma. gotta get some sleep. gotta shower. gotta do the laundry. maybe i'll just sleep less , and screw up the cash register at work.

James Joyce once said, "There is no heresy or no philosophy which is so abhorrent to the church as a human being." But perhaps the great American lawyer Clarence Darrow put the
secularist argument best of all. "I don't believe in God," he said, "because I don't believe in Mother Goose."
