Granted that your posts aren't very detailed, but for some reason they're giving me the impression that I could like the game less (or no more) than Jak and Daxster. J&D, while mundane, didn't have anything I was actively annoyed by. Its sins were mostly sins of omission: not having good enough stuff. On the other hand, I tend to kind of hate stealth missions.

And for games that aren't very good, I think I'd slightly prefer one that gets a little better as it goes than one that starts a little better but gets worse. For the former case, it might seem like the designers' hearts might be close to the right place, but they've miscalculated somehow (similar to what I was saying regarding Super Mario Bros. 2 when contrasting easy old games with easy new games).
