I've finished Chapter 4 of Kessen III (there's 13 in total, I believe)

IIRC, there were three minor battles, two normal story battles, and two major battles.

There were some memorable ones. Let's see... during on battle, you have to protect your base while destroying all the enemy camps. That's tough because you might be distracted on one part of the battlefield and then have to take control of some other units to defend your area once it's attacked. Too risky to let the computer try and do it.

In another battle, there are four enemy commanders to defeat. That one got kind of tough, especially the last part. Took me a couple of tries.

In the last battle, your main goal is simply to escape the battle without getting killed, which is harder than I would have thought. You can save at any time, which is helpful.

I still don't feel totally comfortable with this game, like I'm only scratching the surface of what I could be doing. I think it could have benefited from a better (optional) tutorial, gradually teaching you the basic controls, then moving onto some strategy and practice battles. Instead, you get a bunch of basic info really quickly at the very beginning, and, in my case, forget all of it a few minutes later, and then have no way to look at it again.
