For myself, I'm just continuing with Might and Magic.

I'll have to post some subjective thoughts sooner or later (maybe some thoughts on this game's battle system versus Final Fantasy 1's) but for now I'll just name progress.

I mostly just continued mapping the White Wolf cave tonight. It's gone quickly; I've mapped over three quarters of it so far (the only part I'm missing is in the south east, after the door with the basilisks).

Some enemy parties had some plant creatures that could take off around 150 hit points (about three times the maximum of any of my heroes), but they started in the back row, and thus weren't as big a problem as they could have been.

I also leveled up 4 of my characters. A lot of the experience I got simply while exploring White Wolf. However, I eventually went back to the square on B2 to fight the Lich and Mummies. All of my characters survived the fight, and won 5,000 experience each. That is still far and away the richest experience award I've yet encountered. My characters now need about 75,000 experience for the next level (except the two that are left behind; they need over 30,000 to catch up).

The new level has increased the number of my knights' attacks to 3, which of course is a big boost (50%) in power.
