I might play a little more NGX this evening. We'll see.

Before then, another comment: This probably goes without saying, but Ninja Gaiden X is *nothing* like the original Ninja Gaiden on the NES. The only similarity is that they both have a ninja fighting humans, then demons, and I guess they both have a dragon sword.

NGX is just trying to be Devil May Cry with ninjas. It takes all of its cues from that, and none from Ninja Gaiden, at all. I know I've said that no 3D game is really much like any 2D game, but this isn't even vaguely close.
