This is yet another of those modern games that, even as I progress further into, I still don't feel I "get".

After thinking about that sentence for a while, I questioned what it was that I didn't get.

Honestly, I don't think there's much. I think I simply don't *like* (not don't understand) beat-em-up style fighting, where every enemy takes multiple hits to kill.

I don't, however, know all of the moves, nor am I experienced with all the weapons.

Another notion, aside from "understanding" a game, would be being in the groove with a game. I'd define that as being at the point where you want to continue playing a game just because you're enjoying it; you're no longer forcing yourself to play, particularly just so you can say you finished it. I still don't think I'm quite there yet with this game.

Another comment about the camera: When, say, you jump away from enemies to quickly get away from them (if, for instance, you're fighting enemies that will do a grab or throw move if you stay near them too long), often you'll jump right off the screen, and it'll take a few seconds (which feels like a long time, considering how fast the enemies move) for it to pan over to put you in frame again.
