I have to ask though...

C'mon, is Ulyaoth really all that bad a guy? He seems really intellectual and says things like, "The universe is a yawning chasm, filled with emptiness and the purile meandering of sentience." Anyone who can talk like that can't be all bad.

On a more serious note, I said in my earlier posts that the game felt like it was "plodding". I think I've since gotten used to the somewhat slow nature of it. (I think I had just gotten too used to the speed at which Indy ran in Infernal Machine, but the areas he had to cover were generally much larger.) Also, it does go by much faster on replays, so I think the pace is appropriate.

But I do see what Crawl was talking about when he said the final area was too "drawn out". There were a few interesting puzzles, but many of the rooms were just kind of dull and empty. Maybe forcing you to go through 9 towers was a bit excessive. But the view from the tops of the towers looking over the city below was magnificent.
