Y'know, at Gamestop, I picked up a display case for X-Men Legends 2, and on the back of the box it said "Play as the evil Brotherhood".

Maybe I'm just forgiving (or possibly Raven is stupid), but lately I haven't seen the Brotherhood so much as villians as extreme antiheroes. They really don't seem evil, just have a different view of humans than the X-Men. They have their reasons to hate humans, and some of them show some compassionate and heroic sides. In one of those comics I had, Magneto could have wiped out the X-Men, but actually gave them a pickup to cart off Beast's body (in a couple more panels, you could see Blob helping Colossus put Beast in the pickup). Quicksilver, who's Magneto's friggin' son, actually turned his back on his father to save humanity (took Magneto's helmet off so Xavier could stop the nukes Magneto set off). In the other comic, they came to the X-Men's rescue when Weapon X had captured them all.

For pete's sake, in the first X-Men Legends, Magneto says something like wanting a world where "his children" don't have to live in fear. It's not like this guy is destroying shit for the sake of destroying it.

It's time for revenge...
