1. The Legend of Zelda (NES)

Well...Ys Book 1 & 2 could very well be games that I'd like, but I somehow doubt they'd dethrone Zelda on my Top 100. They certainly have excellent music (Yuzo Koshiro #1!!), but Zelda has more depth, it would seem...

2. The Legend of Mystical Ninja (SNES)

Um...even if Mystical Ninja hadn't scored higher on my Top 100 than Mega Man 3 (which it did), I would still vote for it, because there are already a bunch of Mega Man games that moved on in the voting! MM4 beat Breath of Fire, for crying out loud!

3. Final Fantasy 4 (SNES/PSX)

Truthfully, I always liked Keystone Kapers a lot more than Pitfall. It seems like Pitfall got all the credit for being an early platform-style game while Keystone Kapers faded into obscurity. I also like Moon Patrol more. But well, FF4 is one of my top favorite games of all time.

4. Might & Magic (NES/PC)

It's true I haven't actually played FFX, but I don't think that's any real contest. The NES version of Might & Magic is my favorite RPG ever.
