Yeah, I don't see how it can be beaten in one sitting. No, it's not an epic game, but it's not short by any means.

And Crawl, I'd just call Beyond Good & Evil an action/adventure game. It's got a nice mix of elements from all types of games in the action genre (puzzles, stealth, martial arts, various vehicles, some platforming here and there) and an expansive world that can be roamed about pretty freely. There are also things to collect, though the game doesn't ram the collection aspect down your throat so much like most adventure games do. Though it seemed short (my first playthrough took me about 10 hours), after I was finished I felt satisfied. The game never let me down, and I enjoyed multiple replays before I finally sold it. Truly a gaming masterpiece if there ever was one.
