This is somewhat-odd:

There are unused graphics of cursive writing for "New game" and "Continue". To the left is the unused sprites and to the right is the text that's actually used in the game. Either someone wanted the font to remain consistent for the whole game, or this is an "oops".

BTW, I had to jump through hoops to make that text table. There's only one emulator I'm aware of that has the built-in tool necessary to create one and that's...NESticle... which doesn't work in Windows 7. I had to download DOSbox and run it through DOSbox (funny, but DOSbox's website actually does mention that NESticle is 100% compatible with it.) Another problem is that long, long ago I found a website that gave a very clear, step-by-step explanation of how to create a text table to see the text in an NES ROM, but I could not find it now nor any comparable webpage, and I'm assuming it probably doesn't exist anymore. So, I had to figure out how to make a text table again almost completely from memory. I might end up creating my own FAQ for this since it's very useful information.
