Along with the unused graphics I found in this topic, I just noticed something else:

There's an extra copy of the owl from the opening in with the cinema graphics. It's just one stationary view with three feathers popping off of him. As far as I know, the owl never appears in any cinemas.

The Japanese version of Might & Magic has graphics for an owl plaque in the Sorpigal Gallery. That definitely doesn't exist in the American version. Also, that weird framing stuff at the top is not in the American version, either. (I'd have to actually play the Japanese version for a bit to figure out if this stuff is used in the Sorpigal Gallery.)

The Japanese version also has some weird goats-head frame thing removed from the American version.

Both versions of the game have graphics for... this enemy that looks nearly identical to the creature on the game's view window border. May just be my faulty memory, but I don't remember running into anything like that at all. From the looks of the sheer size of it, it's probably a boss. Since it looks like the game's border decoration, I would think it was probably important... Could it be Sheltem? I always have been suspicious that you were meant to fight Sheltem, and my suspicions grew when I found his unused music in the game (called "Sheltem's Theme" by the game's official soundtrack), and now I'm becoming even more convinced... He probably was going to be the "final boss", since the game as it is doesn't have one.
