Oh man...it's basically a Celine Dion wannabe-song and is as embarrassing as "I am the Wind", which is also a Celine Dion-ish song.
"Small of Two Pieces" from Xenogears is also Celine Dion-ish, except that the lyrics at least had some interesting metaphors, the woman's voice was okay, and it had a good guitar solo. The lyrics in "Eyes on Me" are really banal.
The question is...what is with all of this? Were all of these composers blown away by Titanic? Is it that when it came time to write a love song for these games, "My Heart Will Go On" was so popular that they thought that's how a love song should sound?
