I can't think of anything else that applies to. Really, Suda51 just ripped that off from the X-Men.

The Camelot Conundrum - Despite that its existence has never been historically proven, whenever anyone travels back in
time to a medieval era, they will inevitably end up in Camelot with King Arthur.
See: A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, A Kid in King Arthur's Court, "A Decepticon Raider in King Arthur's Court" episode of Transformers, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, Army of Darkness, StarTropics 2: Zoda's Revenge, Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure I think Chrono Trigger might be the ONLY exception to this I've ever seen. If someone is on-stage talking about how "dumb" or "stupid" something is, he will inevitably be attacked by that thing.
See: The episode of Garfield & Friends in which Garfield says dogs are stupid on live TV and discovers the audience is full of dogs. See also: Steve Martin in this clip from 5:35 to 9:10. (On a side note, it looks like Wanda has dumped Wayne for the Newscaster. O_o) "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

Whenever a stupid character is examined by a doctor after having a near-death experience, they'll invariably say they're detecting no brain activity.

The Law of Lampshades - Putting a lampshade on your head and standing still is a foolproof way to escape your pursuers.
The Wax Museum Rule - In lieu of a lampshade, standing still amongst the figures in a wax museum will also serve the same purpose. (Note: This even happens in Blade Runner, sort of.) Edit - Okay, actually Sethra mentioned the Wax Museum one before and I even made the same comment about Blade Runner, but I had forgotten and I used the search function to search "wax" on this forum and it didn't turn up any results. Weird. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

Someone goes to the doctor because he's not feeling well (or maybe just for a routine checkup) and it turns out he has something really benign (or nothing at all), but then he overhears the doctor talking with someone else about something completely unrelated, but thinks that they're secretly talking about him. The conversation makes it sound like he doesn't have very long to live, which usually results in the character deciding to spend (what he thinks are) his last few days doing really ridiculously stupid and dangerous things. He'll usually find out he isn't really dying at the most inopportune time, at which point he'll realize how dangerous what he's doing is and freaks out. I'm almost positive now that this happened on The Muppet Show with Fozzie Bear being the one who overheard the "plant" conversation. Did this happen in Season 1 or am I having a flashback to a later season episode I saw in my youth? "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

Puppets are sentient.
Meaning, by themsleves they're just dead puppets, but when somebody is "controlling" them they gain a mind of their own. See: Trilo in Phoenix Wright 2, that hand puppet in "The Tick vs. Arthur's Bank Account" episode of The Tick. |

I think that gimmick may go back at least as far as The Little Tailor.
There was an example of it in the Jaye P. Morgan episode of The Muppet Show. The owner of the theater's name is something like "J.P. Grosse", and when Scooter mentions that he's visiting, Kermit starts wildly complaining that "J.P. is the worst person in show business! I hate working with J.P.!", and of course guest star Jaye P. Morgan overhears the conversation and thinks Kermit is talking about her. They took this a step further by later having J.P. Grosse misunderstand Kermit when he says he wants Jaye P. Morgan to sing (which leads to a rather hilarious closing scene.) Also, you can the "Cloche Cliche" in the first few seconds of this clip. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

A hairdo can be instantly changed to a completely different hairstyle by one stroke of a comb or brush.
Also, sometimes hair and even a face can be completely changed just by rapidly waving hands in front of it. Can sometimes also result in the sudden appearance of a hat or cigar/pipe. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

Flying Omelette wrote: A third way to outsmart your pursuer(s) is to start running around a tree or pole until all that can be seen is a circular motion blur. After making several
revolutions, cease running and step aside. Your pursuer(s) will continue to circle the pole for several seconds, at which point you can choose to make your
getaway, or wait for the pursuer(s) to stop and notice what has happened (which is what most characters inexplicably do).

I thought they'd sometimes stick a foot out and trip the pursuer.

Which is still counter-productive. Usually once they trip, they get right back up and resume the chase. But if you were to run away, there's no telling how
long the pursuer would still be circling the pole/tree and you might just make a clean getaway in that time.

Fist Cloud - Sometimes when cartoon characters get into a fight (particularly if one or more of the participants are a cat or a dog), the
fight will be represented by a spherical cloud of dust with stars, fists, and feet popping out of it.
