First, it gets on my case for not using the special "e" for cliche.
Then it doesn't even suggest the correct special "e"!

It doesn't like "dialogue", either. It wants you to spell it as "dialog", but that's not how I learned it and it looks strange to
me.
I dunno about Firefox. Sometimes I think it just makes things look ugly
This is the RAU Gallery index in Internet Explorer
This is the same page in Firefox. That just looks awful and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

It seems to look okay in Opera:

It looks normal in Firefox on this PC.

Okay, nevermind that. I think Crawl did something to the Firefox settings to prevent the text from appearing too small. It's nice that I've been
complaining about that problem in Firefox all this time and he never once told me about that until today.
On the other hand, I must have the settings on my work PC Firefox the same because it looks that way at work, too. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

Uh, I'm not sure I DID do that here. I did change the Firefox settings on my laptop to increase font size, because the laptop uses a resolution that's
so high, if I didn't do that, most webpages would be unreadable.
But I don't think I did that here. We usually still use 800 x 600 on the desktop. |

Oh, okay. Sorry. I'm not going to worry about changing it, though.
Actually, it looks even better in Opera than IE. IE puts more space between the lines than I'd like. Sometimes IE's not even consistent about how much space it uses. Sometimes it puts so much space between lines, it looks like I added an extra line break. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

One thing browsers need is an "undo close tab" option.

Firefox has a recently closed tabs option under history. I don't know if IE has anything.

I can't find that in either browser.
Edit - Nevermind, I see it in Firefox, but it's ghosted. Problem with IE is that it doesn't even have a History menu anymore. |

Firefox has a recently closed tabs option under history. Thanks! Another thing browsers need is better caching of user-entered text. |

Not much to say about Firefox vs. IE or Opera, but I did want to comment that I like that change to the RAU Gallery index. It definitely looks neater with the
links spread out and the descriptions will make finding particular sketches again later easier because I can't always remember what happened in what
sketch.
There is one other thing I thought might be useful, though it would be a lot of work to do...Perhaps you could outsource the job to someone on the forums who'd be willing to do it if you don't have enough time - I think it would be nice if each characters' "posts" in a sketch had an index link just like posts on a message board. You could maybe make their name the link. That way if someone wanted to post a link to a particular quote in a sketch, they would be able to do that. Where can I find...a bagel? |

That's something I think would be a good idea, but yeah, it'd be a lot of work to go back through all the sketches and append a name tag to every post.
It definitely looks neater with the links spread out and the descriptions will make finding particular sketches again later easier because I can't always remember what happened in what sketch. The four sketches near the beginning between the 2nd Site Tracking Adventure and Grimmora X Geo get mixed up in my memory. "My feelings hurt, but you know I overcome the pain

What I hate is when a browser adds two line breaks at the end of a paragraph instead of one, just because your text reached the absolute end of a line and
it's interpreting the hidden '/n' character (which the person viewing the web page of course never sees) as another character. Grr!

Another thing browsers need is better caching of user-entered text. i would think that's a big security issue like making your browser remember passwords for you, and keylogging spyware.

Well, browsers sometimes remember passwords anyway. That seems a bigger security issue than just remembering a post you're typing on a message board.

Browsers distinguish between passwords and normal text anyway, so there's no security issue with caching text.
On the remote chance that there is an issue, there could be an option to turn it off -- like there is already an option to turn off and on remembering passwords. |

You think that's bad? Wii's Internet Channel doesn't even support the normal reply, so I have to use the quick reply when I decide to post from my
