The Dreamcast was aborted much earlier than planned. Sega seemed to drop the axe on it out of nowhere, and of course it led to Sega leaving the console
business entirely.
I was talking to FO about this the other day. Just a couple of weeks before Sega announced they were discontinuing the Dreamcast, the system was hacked so that you could download Dreamcast games from the internet, burn them to CD, and play a 100% perfect copy on the real system. The only games this wouldn't work for were those that were too big to fit on a CD, which was a very small percentage of Dreamcast games. The timing might have just been a coincidence. |

Ironic that you posted that after a GIF of MC Hammer. I've read that people who win the lottery sometimes manage to find ways of blowing millions of
dollars and end up having to go back to crappy jobs. I don't know the incidence of that happening, though.

No, it's a Cho Aniki cameo in one of the Langrisser games. You fight Adon and Samsom at their Bodybuilder Shrine, and if you beat them you can summon them
in battle.
Although there actually is a Cho Aniki RPG card game... |

I didn't realize that at first (though of course by the time I beat the game, I knew). I wonder how they do rotation on the Genesis. It's an uncommon effect. I think there might be a cheap trick to beating the last guy you posted, too -- but I can't quite remember what it is. I thought maybe it was possible to kill him before he starts hitting the bridge. |

IT'S A MANLY SHRINE! and yeah. there's a japanese wonderswan cho aniki rpg. i think it plays like the dragonball rpgs for NES. with cards.
