Yeah, his head's the size of his entire torso, and I guess his legs are another head long. And I guess they were trying to put him into realistic clothing,
but it just doesn't look good on a cartoon character. And though the image is kind of blurry, but his face looks like it's made out of plastic. He
looks like a doll.

Well, in a financial sense Sonic is a great move, much better than Megaman. It generates hype for Brawl, brings in Sonic fans, and basically everybody dying
for a Mario vs. Sonic showdown.
It's just hard to want Sonic in when only one or two of his games worth playing, none of them recent. I'd much prefer, say, Megaman or Simon Belmont, if we're looking for older mascots. At least they didn't choose Alex Kidd.

Is Sonic really a bigger draw than Mega Man, though? According to Wikipedia, there have been 44 million games sold in the Sonic series, as compared to 27 million games in the Mega Man series. So, I guess the
easy answer would be "Yes." But the best selling Sonic game is Sonic 2, followed by Sonic 1, and those were both a long time ago. It seems at least
possible to me that by now, the Sonic series could have lost some credibility and the Mega Man series could have stayed steady.

Since Sonic was Mario's rival, though, he brings more to the table vis-à-vis the other characters. And it brings much more hype; everybody in the Smash
community has been buzzing about wanted Sonic in, and nobody ever talks about Mega Man.

If they must use a character from Sonic lore, they should've gone with Knuckles. Sonic is all speed whereas Knuckles strikes me as an actual fighter, even
though he isn't half the draw Sonic is. When using Sonic, I could imagine zipping off every wall into cliffs too easily.

I think Mega Man would be a difficult inclusion, largely because of the various iterations of the character in its different franchises. Original Mega Man, X,
the Battle Network shit... and all people would do is bitch that Zero wasn't there, most likely.

I don't know if his head is too big so much as his body is too small. In recent years, they've made Mario look trimmer, even though I think many people
probably still think of him as being plump or fat. It's the same thing with Garfield. He looks a lot thinner than he used, and despite the fact that the
fat jokes keep on rolling, if he was any skinnier his head would be too large. Heck, there was even some Garfield strip from a few years ago that kinda proved
that when Garfield had a dream that he lost weight and he had a giant head on a beanpole body like a stick figure.

I'm not cool with the idea of Sonic being in the game, but I try to think of it like this: Sonic fans finally get to play as him, while Sonic haters get to
take out their hatred toward him by beating him up with one or three of their favorite Nintendo characters. The same goes for Sega fans who hate Nintendo.
