I had Motorstorm but I recently sold it. Rented a couple of multiplatform games that I didn't like. Downloaded fl0w for it, which sucked. Then downloaded some other game for it that I couldn't get into.

It's nice and quiet, fine for DVD's and I got in early enough to have full PS2 compatibility. But otherwise I'm not too thrilled with the investment. That might be an understatement. I bought it kind of stupidly on impulse, but still figured there'd be something to play on it by now. Maybe by the holidays. But man is this system selling like crap. It's always like 600,000 units for the Wii and 80,000 for the PS3.

I don't want this thing anymore. I've got hundreds of dollars tied up into a machine that completely sucks in terms of software and shows almost no promise for the future.

I've decided to hang onto it for right now. First, I don't feel like buying another PS2 and associated accesories. Secondly, I've actually been depending on the PS3 as a DVD player. With one in the living room, the only other option is to use the 360, and it's fan is loud enough to be distracting. The wireless controller is almost as good as buying one of the DVD remotes they sell for consoles and it's a lot less clunky than watching movies on a PS2.

I'll ebay it if I end up seriously needing some cash for something, but otherwise, I'll pray something playable comes out soon.
