Most of my stuff from Amazon.com came. Here's a rundown of everything I got:

Emerson, Lake & Powell - I had this on cassette but it doesn't work very well (it squeaks as it plays and sometimes the tape stops halfway through Mars, "The Bringer of War"), so I got the CD. It actually has two bonus tracks that weren't on the cassette, "The Loco-Motion" and "Vacant Possession". If that is the same "Loco-Motion" song I think it is, I can't imagine ELP covering that.

Linda Ronstadt - Hasten Down the Wind - I have a ton of vinyls and cassettes of Linda Ronstadt's older stuff and decided to upgrade the best of what I have to CD. I think this is one of her best albums with the single exception of the terrible cover of "Crazy" that's on it. That's still no excuse for Media Player to only give it a 2-star rating, though.

Linda Ronstadt - Linda Ronstadt - I'm guessing this is her self-titled debut album after she broke up with the Stone Poneys.

Linda Ronstadt - Heart Like a Wheel - I almost didn't get this one, but I had a $30 discount from signing up for an Amazon.com VISA plus two $25 gift certificates and I needed to make enough purchases to use it all up. I took a second look a the track listing for this one and realized it actually does have quite a few good songs on it. I think what initially turned me away from it is that the song "Heart Like a Wheel" itself isn't one I care for.

Linda Ronstadt - Don't Cry Now - I don't think this has a bad song on it.

John Denver - Some Days Are Diamonds - Okay, yes, I bought a John Denver CD. And I might buy more. Screw you.

Rosanne Cash - Seven Year Ache - I have a vinyl of this, too, and I like it, so I upgraded to CD. It also has a couple of bonus tracks that weren't on the vinyl, including a live version of "Seven Year Ache".

Paul Williams - Since I found out he's the one behind that "Old-Fashioned Love Song" and "The Rainbow Connection", I thought it wouldn't hurt to get an album of his so I could hear some of his other works. I got the one album off Amazon that I could still get new that had "Old-Fashioned Love Song". It was listed as "Import", but I didn't think that meant it was LITERALLY an import-only CD. I know I've seen things listed as "import" that I'm guessing are listed that way because they are sold-out in America, but can still be gotten new elsewhere. (Example: Linda Ronstadt's "Silk Purse" album is listed as "Import", but the vinyl I own was in my mother's collection and I don't know how she cold have imported it.) But this Paul Williams CD is apparently something that was only released in Australia. It's also the most "No-Frills" CD of all the ones I got. The CD packaging is just a list of the songs, no notes or anything.

Daryl Hall - 3 Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine - Somehow, I ended up with a vinyl of this long ago. I thought I'd get the CD just for the heck of it. I think what's great about this "solo" album is that basically the only difference is that John Oates isn't on it. So, is that the meaning of the album title? Are Daryl Hall, G.E. Smith, and T-Bone Wolk the "3 Hearts in the Happy Ending Machine" now that John Oates is gone?

Super Mario Bros. Movie Soundtrack - I know, I know, it's a shitty movie, but I somehow got the soundtrack for it on cassette long ago and actually...it's A LOT better than the movie itself. It has:

Roxette - Almost Unreal
Queen - Tie Your Mother Down
Joe Satriani - Speed of Light
George Clinton - Walk the Dinosaur
Megadeth - Breakpoint

Those are all pretty good songs. I can't remember too much what the rest of the songs on the album sound like, but as cheap as it was, I thought it was worth it for those songs alone.
