You know, I didn't think I'd have to look very far to find a radical feminist blog that would be all over this case before getting any facts straight, and OMFG, this is EXACTLY why I hate these people! (Her mentioned "spin-off" blog, btw, is now a 404, instead, of you, maybe an entry admitting the facts. ) Internet radical feminists are to women's rights what PETA is to animal's rights. Spare me your goddamned self-importance and stop representing my gender!!

I found this quote on an anti-feminism site:

"Feminism" means so many different things that it appears to mean very little. Its theoretical advocates constantly contradict each other and themselves. In casting off feminine reserve and modesty they seem to have learned intellectual shamelessness as well. Rather than damaging feminism, its incoherence offers an easy defense against all criticism: whatever the complaint, the response is that it misses the mark because feminism is really something else.

That's exactly the types of responses I've gotten and seen others get when dealing with those kinds of people. The whole idea of it comes across to me as being very little about actually caring about women's rights as it is to create a hive-minded powerhouse that's ignorant of anything but its own ideals. I saw a radical feminist blog that had a banner that read something like, "Blaming All Men For Rape Does Not Make You a Man-Hater".

I was highly-tempted to put a like-sized banner on my site that read, "Hating All Radical Feminists Does Not Make You a Woman-Hater".

LOL. No worry, there, Junus. I've crossed paths with them several times in the past (ironically, both times through a videogame-related site), and my experiences with them just haven't been very pleasant.
