Posts: 4 (09/06/09 8:25 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	You can't really say you guys aren't angsty; my name pops up in a thread years after I've last spoken to any of you and already a few people have called me a retard, someones wanted to punch me in the face, a threat of banning, and some absolutely bizarre and amusing paranoia that this is all an evil scheme (which by the way, I have no honest clue what you're talking about as I don't chat to anyone on the net anymore and haven't done so for at least a good 5 or 6 years since I moved back to England, and even then I recall backing away from any forums or chatrooms once I got to high school). Obviously I've said some pretty stupid stuff and I'm a little embarrassed, but then again I was only 11 in Flying Omlette's quote. I probably should've been kept far away from a computer and the internet but I guess I would've caused mischief elsewhere anyway. I'm sure you all have some pretty funny skeletons hanging about, maybe you should type your old usernames into google as well and see what funny stuff pops up Don't worry, I'm not going to call you all assholes because I honestly couldn't care; I don't even remember who any of who are nor do I remember half the stuff I used to say. I just said hi for a laugh and it clearly entertained both me and all of you. Also, out of curiosity, does anyone know how marioman00 is doing? Seeing this site has brought back some memories and the last time I spoke to him he was going through some pretty deep stuff. ps I think that Bouncer review is pretty sweet and harmless. I was only 12 at the time and it looks like I captured Christmas morning excitement fairly well. Maybe you deserve an explanation, maybe not, but anyway...ever since we broke off all ties with the Game Pond, every year a person named SlayerX shows up to cause trouble because he hates us for killing the place, and while I just ignored him for years and years, several months ago he hit the DHN email pretty hard with all kinds of threats and bullshit, basically trying to make us all feel bad because lame people he worships no longer post here. Because I've been archiving topics from the Game Pond, I have more intimate knowledge of it than any living being should have and I know for a fact that these people he wants us to feel bad about leaving are some of the worst and most vapid and annoying the community has ever seen. And every single time one of them shows up out of nowhere, they pull this, "I never did anything wrong, you're just all terrible people!" routine. Obviously I've said some pretty stupid stuff and I'm a little embarrassed, but then again I was only 11 in Flying Omlette's quote. But (a) I can admit that and (b) I'm not the one going around trying to find these old Game Pond hacks and sending them emails saying they should all feel bad because I don't want to talk to them anymore. Don't worry, I'm not going to call you all assholes because I honestly couldn't care; I don't even remember who any of who are nor do I remember half the stuff I used to say. You know, something about that Zelda Elements site is ringing a bell with me, and I don't know why. Did they ever use an ezboard for a message board? I'm almost thinking that Dragon View/Drakkhen conversation I talked about earlier took place at a Zelda site with an ezboard. ----- There is no spoon!

And they're both old crappagory reviews, which makes it even more mysterious. But I don't always see a correlation between what pages get the most hits and what pages get bookmarked the most. DH is still mad at her, though, and won't allow it, but I update the site much more than she does so I might just overrule her. You know, the more I thought about it, the more I realized I had very little active memory of the Game Pond and its members. A lot of those posts I read through during the Memory Lane and Citizen James archiving process were so unfamiliar to me that I might as well have never been to that board before. And yet all I'm doing is taking those posts exactly as they are and reposting them to my site and Slayer is popping veins over it. It's like, dude, you don't even need my archives to see that your friends are not the paragons of intelligence that you want everyone to think they are. Anyone can just go to the board and read the original posts for themselves. Maybe if the Game Pond was deleted he could happily go on pretending that they were all such great people who never did anything wrong and whose every word oozed the wisdom of God himself, but the proof is all right there in the pudding. I wouldn't even have ever known the truth had I not started archiving stuff and seen it for myself. Sometimes, things just really aren't as you remember them, and it's better to admit that and move on. It's getting close to Thanksgiving. I can't wait to see what he does this year. Get out of my cheese, get into my corn!
