For some reason that reminded me... this isn't exactly a "game", per se, but we had this program in school that would let you draw lines and circles. You'd type in coordinates, then a little triangle would draw the lines.

I had long been lamenting classes that seemed to be teaching us useless skills (they once made us do tap-dancing in gym, for example, and a "marketing" class where everyone just mostly chit-chatted all day), but this one took the cake since I could see no practical use for it and we'd spend what I swear were hours learning the damn thing.

So, one day I typed in really large numbers like X 21438905820 and Y 3258290482903 and the damn triangle took off like a rocket, drew lines everywhere so eventually the whole screen filled up and you could only occasionally see it pop out in an area where the lines weren't completely thick yet. Eventually, it stopped moving, but the teacher got extremely pissed off at me, yelled at me to "never do anything like that ever again!" and she was basically acting like what I did could have broken the program or made the computer explode or something.

I told BJ about it lest they call home and complain, and he actually called them first and asked why we were spending so much time on this program and what use would knowledge of it have for the working world, and they just came up with some bullshit about how it was supposed to teach us math and angles and circumference and blah, blah, but really it didn't.
