This is something I remembered seeing long ago.

One of the levels in Mappy-Land contains a church and a graveyard full of crosses.

Also, Zelda 2 has crosses on the overworld around the graveyard:

And a church with a cross in Mido, which is referred to in the dialogue:

I'm almost positive if you get attacked while walking on the graveyard on the overworld, you'll fight on a background with crosses, but I can't remember it for a fact, and I can't find any screenshots, and I don't feel like playing up that far right now.

Also, StarTropics has crosses on the tombstones in the ghost village:

Every weapon shop in Crystalis is marked by a shield with a cross on it:



The Magic of Scheherazade calls this "The Star of Airosche"...


But let's face it - That's either a Star of David or a Pentagram.


There's one on your status screen, too, if you don't have a map.

You might want to fix the height and width tags on some of the screenshots I submitted. They look blurry in Firefox, and if you look at the properties, it says something like 256px × 232px (scaled to 256px × 224px).
