It always seemed to me that the Captain N design of Mega Man was a direct cross between the version on the box art of Mega Man 1 and the game version.

I liked the way Mega Man looked best in the artwork for Mega Man 2/Rock Man 2 (not including the American boxart), but when he looked like this:
This one seemed to use the same version: 
I think he looks best when he looks small and cartoony. (But not TOO small and cartoony like that horrifying Powered-Up version.) Speaking of which, does anyone else but me find this image of Mega Man and Rush disturbing? 
I've seen that same picture elsewhere, but the way the other robot heads are voyeuristically looking on doesn't help any. |
