Neither of our cats uses the small bedroom much anymore. Mel goes in there sometimes when we use the treadmill to be with us, and sometimes she goes in there on her own to use the litterbox or look out the window from the cat tower. Pepper never goes in there at all. If you take her up there, she immediately, turns and walks out. As such, I decided to give the play cubes that were in that room to Crawl's sister's cats. Mel loves the play cubes in the large bedroom, but she never uses the ones that were in the small bedroom, and they were just taking up space.
When Crawl's family came to visit, I brought the cubes downstairs and asked his sister if she thought her cats would like those (I guess, as long as she's still living with Crawl's mother, DJ and Itty Bitty can use the cubes, too). Then, after all the time they were in the small bedroom and she never used them, Mel got inside of them and was playing. She would pull toys into them as we dangled them in front of the entrance holes.
Crawl's mother said there's no way you can give those cubes away, now, but I said, well, the only reason Mel's playing in them now is because they're downstairs, and we can't leave them in the middle of the floor. They take up too much space. So, I still let Crawl's sister take them home.
I wonder if any of their cats have used them yet.
