That's not very many, out of the total movies FO and I have seen together. Not only that, but there are quite a few movies that pretty much ONLY have men (Lawrence of Arabia, 12 Angry Men, virtually all of Reserviour Dogs, etc.)
Not only that, but someone suggested a higher standard for what makes a woman's movie (granted, it was suggested by a lesbian):
1. It has to have at least two women in it, who
2. Talk to each other
3. About something other than a man.
By those standards, even fewer of the movies I listed apply!
Elizabeth, Jackie Brown, Terminator 2 and Million Dollar Baby all have strong females for their main character, none of those females sleep with another man during the course of the movie, but for the most part, those female characters still are talking only to other men.
If you'd switch that criteria to
1. It must have at least two men in it, who
2. Talk to each other
3. about something other than a woman
almost every single movie we've seen together would qualify.
