Like the Toy Story video above, only using footage from the Super Mario World cartoon. These videos are one of my guilty pleasures.That one was funny. The other one I liked was one that FO had favorited. I think the trick to those is that they still have to keep a story and not just have random crap happen, and when something is changed, it should be to make a joke and, again, not just to be random. |

Last night's episode of "The Simpsons". I feel season 19 is a whole lot better than seasons 11-18, but it's still not good enough to unjump the shark.I'd have to look back through an episode list to judge season 19. That particular episode, though... Well, I don't think it made me groan, which is a plus. But it didn't make me laugh out loud once. I also don't think that it had any of those quotable lines the show had been so known for in the past. And the plot -- Bart gets a pet and its weird and too big and ... well, I guess it reminded me of the Stampy episode a little. Actually, bits and pieces reminded me of other older episodes (he gets involved with 4H, just like the junior campers). It was just mediocre. |

I was watching some more Zero Punctuation and I was disappointed by the Psychonauts one. It's basically him listing what sounds like a ton of major flaws
than saying it's still great because it's fun.

What they're doing in the first video is precisely how I discovered those unused Dungeon Skull tiles, He just activates the glitch a different way. I did
it via the bumper in the Skull Woods dungeon, not the mirror.

I can't remember how I first played around with that glitch, but it might have been through a save state that already had the conditions fulfilled. Anyway,
I would occasionally get into rooms that would crash the entire emulator back to the desktop so I got annoyed with exploring.

I think glitches that can only be done with an emulator are kind of lame. Using ROMs and hacking to find things you normally wouldn't be able to find (like
DrWarp in Breath of Fire) but otherwise legitimately exist is interestsing, but making the game do things that cannot be done on the actual cartridges suggests
it's more a problem with the emulation and not the game.

Those should all be able to be done with the actual game. The one where Link falls into the pot might require tampering with the directional pad, though, and
the Mario one needs a game genie.

That was so long ago. I don't think Yuku uses any ezboard legacy code, either, so that probably took care of the problem right there.
