What exactly IS Yuku? Well, put simply, Yuku is life from lifelessness. It is a process whereby the HTML structure is reorganized at the sub-atomic level into life generating code of equal mass. Stage One of our experiments was conducted in notepad. Stage Two of the series will be attempted in a lifeless subforum of a larger board; Stage Three will involve the process on a full message board scale. It is our intention to introduce the Yuku update into a preselected internet BBS, an ezboard or other dead form. The board is updated, instantaneously causing what we call the Yuku effect. Instead of a dead board, a thriving internet destination, capable of sustaining whatever users we see fit to deposit on it. The reformed ezboard simulated here represents the merest fraction of Yuku's potential, should the internet wish to pursue the experiments to their logical conclusion. When we consider the problems of forum overpopulation and bandwidth supply, the usefulness of this process becomes clear. This concludes our proposal. Thank you for your attention. |

Yuku must evolve. Its knowledge has reached the limits of this forum, and it must evolve. What it requires, Doctor, is the answer to its question -- Is there nothing more? 
What more is there than message boards, Spock? 
Other websites. Perhaps an entire network of them. An internet.
The existence of which cannot be proven logically. Therefore, Yuku is incapable of believing in them. 
What Yuku needs in order to evolve... is a human quality-- our capacity to leap beyond logic.
And joining with one of its members might accomplish that.
You mean this forum wants to physically join with a human? Is that possible? 
Let's find out.
