They've been pushing it pretty hard, so you all might be aware, but Version 3.0 is now available. I've heard that on systems where the old versions
were slow, there's been some significant improvements. Cosmetically, it's mostly the same, but I've noticed a couple minor things here and there
that I like better. I don't know how most add-ons are, but the ones that I use (Adblock, ForecastFox, and the one that makes alt tags work better) are
fine.

One annoying issue is that every time I use a contraction, it gets flagged as incorrect.

Thanks for the notice. I'm trying it out now.
I haven't noticed any significant changes, though. And I haven't yet seen any contractions flagged as incorrect. won't can't don't doesn't hasn't haven't you're they're ain't oughtn't Really weird.... a couple of those (doesn't, hasn't, ain't, oughtn't) were flagged, then the flags went away. When I start a new paragraph, all of those flags go away.

I like how when you type in a URL you've been to recently, the auto-fill is a little easier to read and has more information.

Sometimes Firefox has a glitch where it only plays 2 seconds of a Youtube clip, without sound, then stops.
I don't know what causes it, but it happens in both the older and newer Firefox, and it seems the only cure is to close out of the program and restart. |

May or may not be from Firefox, but anyone else having the problem where you use the quote feature and then the cursor becomes totally invisible?

The cursor frequently becomes invisible. It might happen even when I don't use the quote.

Dunno if it's my computer, but since I got Firefox 3, I can no longer select text in a website and "print selected." It just spits a blank page.
Never used to happen.
85% of video games are above the median in quality.

Firefox just completely fucked up. I tried right clicking on some text to Google search it; that froze the window. I couldn't change tabs with the mouse. I changed tabs with the tab button, and that worked, but I couldn't enter text. I switched the internet Explorer to make this post. FO said, "Why is the computer accessing the drive?" I then closed firefox through the task manager, and it stopped the drive noise. |
