how about:
- award ceremony - a party - cowboy riding into the sunset - cop killing all the bad guys - "a happily ever after" thingy in any rom-com. - some long-shot of some random landscape nearby.

A question mark. Both literal (The End?) and metaphorical. That could kinda be lumped into "setup for a sequel," but if a movie does that, it often
times will not get the chance at the sequel.

Or it will and the sequel will totally suck and/or leave that question unanswered while creating more unanswered questions of its own.
Another thing I don't want to see a movie end with - a person flying away. It was okay in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and maybe a Superman movie here or there, but I don't want to see it again. "No one can withstand

They're not movies or even games, but Ultraverse Mantra and the Marvel run Prime end with somebody flying away (and both with someone in tow to boot).

Hmm... I hadn't even thought of movies where people fly away with some assistance. I know I can't think of any other examples right now but I'm
just saying that after seeing it that many times I just don't think it's going to seem so special if someone does it again.
