It's generally agreed that the comic is evil, but the first thing that comes to mind when I think of Pooh and slaughter is VG Cats.

I actually think the latest VGcats could've been legitimately funny...if only he would learn to be more concise and less wordy. He could cut out quite a
few of those panels and it would've gotten the same point across.

The VG Cats FO is referring to would be about the Wii's fanbase changing from hardcore to casual, I believe.
The fanboys one was about Nintendo's poor showing at E3 due to focusing on casual gamers and lack of new games. I wasn't totally clear on the other guys, I guess they were Sony and Microsoft?

Just think of it as being indie or existential and you'll be just fine.
In all seriousness, though, it may not be permanent. I'm having difficulty finding a background that works for me. The last one some people said was too distracting and/or didn't loop correctly on certain resolutions. The problem with this one is that I really want something that reminds me of the parks that Crawl and I go to, but this one looks more like a jungle. (That and it's slightly pixelated.) |

Going back to VG cats for a second, one thing is that the Wii, as far as I can tell, has always been "casual". Another thing is that he mentions a
toy - singular - which makes it sound like the peas are looking forward to a particular game.

FO, have you tried the IRTC.org site for backgrounds? I once had a forest background on my private ezboard that looked really good against the green tables. The only problem I have with the current background is that I've seen it on other sites before. |

I might want to go with something that tiles, though, due to the fact that people have all sorts of crazy resolutions these days and no way am I going to check it in every one.That's why I suggested the photograph idea. If it was big enough, then smaller resolutions would just crop it.

One thing that annoys me about Yuku is that I can't seem to put solid black lines between the tables on the forums listing and topics listing pages the way
there are when you look at an actual thread. I tried putting them in via the control center, but it looks all weird. The lines don't neatly fill out the
blank space.

I really like the new look. I don't mind if you eventually change the background, but I'm okay with it just as it is. Change is good once in awhile. I
always kind of preferred the original Port Saiid background and get-up to the darker Aliens theme, because it was a little brighter.
