Some Assembly Required

Something just never looks right about cosplay to me. Maybe it's because the costumes are always interpreted too literally. Movie costumes (almost) always look better.

He's actually a psychiatrist. Honen, having been a criminal himself, has a better understanding of how a criminal mind works, though.

I think Honen strikes me as being a touch autistic. I think he'd be more comfortable around his robots than he would talking to people. He doesn't even like being touched.

Preston, on the other hand, has worked as a counselor. He knows how to talk to people and get them to open up. And don't forget, it's not just about understanding the "criminal mind". They'd have to question other witnesses, and I think Preston would be a lot better at getting people to talk, and having a hunch for when they're lying.

I think Honen's improved in that area, though.

Although Honen gets along with Preston just fine (see: Starcrossed Destinies), I think Honen and Nucleo have better chemistry.
