I never noticed this before someone pointed it out on another message board, but when Luigi throws a fireball in Super Mario World, it looks like he's
flicking it out of his nose.
They seem to have made Mario and Luigi identical in almost every other respect, so why change that one little animation frame?

Reminds me of the NES game Ninja Kid (1986) one of the first 3 games we got for our NES in 88. It looked like he was shooting fire out of his forehead.

Ha ha! I remember that from playing as Player 2 Luigi all the time. I would've mentioned it sooner but thought it was well-known.
