Also played some stuff on Taito Legends 2, including Space Invaders...95? Anyway, it's very cutesy and heavily anime inspired. It's pretty short and starts out really easy with a major jump in difficulty around halfway. I did play through to the end, but I used a lot of continues.

5. If your powered-up characters take too much damage, they lose fusion! They don't even have to die for this to happen, just be taken down to 1/4 health or so. Breath of Fire 2- Used Exit magic to leave final dungeon, returned to TownShip to get fusions. Got the powered-up forms for Katt and Nina, fused Bow with water-Seso. I don't know if it will make that much of a difference. Now, I have to go ALL THE WAY through the dungeon to get back to the boss. Reasons I don't like this:

1. It's mostly a maze.
2. Encounter rates are high.
3. I need to conserve resources.

For Season 3, I remember The Flip Side and Poultrygeist episodes were the best ones (even though I wouldn't personally take Poultrygeist too seriously as far as continuity and canon goes.)
