        <![CDATA[ FO and I recently watched Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey.


Even if you somehow knew nothing about these movies, you could probably guess from watching them that the first one was a surprise hit, because the production
values skyrocketed from the first to the second. There were some things about the first movie that must have been that way because of compromises (the future
world was kind of boring, the background music wasn&#39;t very good) while the second movie was probably closer... ]]>

time again. I didn&#39;t care much for the alien, either, but I don&#39;t entirely mind it since I think the whole point of that movie was to get as ridiculous
as possible. If you could suspend enough disbelief, you <em>might</em> be able to think of the first one as something that could&#39;ve really happened, but

			<description><![CDATA[ I don&#39;t know if it was a budget issue, because they obviously had a pretty big budget.  They might just not have known how to do it at all.  Nowadays, they
might have done it with CGI.

			<description><![CDATA[ I liked the first one more than the second one. It&#39;s not that the second one was bad, but I noticed the pacing problems from about the 3/4 mark on
(it&#39;s obvious the reason the robot Bill &amp; Ted didn&#39;t put up a fight at the end is because while they had a better budget, they must not have had
enough to animate a believable fight with the other robots).

While the movie did make me laugh out loud a few times, I don&#39;t think it made me laugh as much.
