2009 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

They brought the Monte Carlo back, but what the hell...

The front of it is just an Impala. I saw one of these the other
day in a parking lot outside Subway and I thought for sure someone just took the logos off an Impala and put Monte Carlo logos on it instead.

Yeah, the Impala Carlo. I've seen those. Before that, it was the Monte Lumina. Weird how Chevy makes new cars by taking a front end of a car and sticking a
new rear end on it.

This is really confusing. Other sites would indicate that what I saw was actually a 2006 Monte Carlo, and Chevy stopped making them after that year. But
that is the only car that looks like that that I've ever seen. The rear end reminded me of the SS version of the Malibu.
Other Monte Carlos I'm
aware of are the ones with the rectangular trunk, the ones that looked like a 90's Lumina, and the old ones that were really low to the ground (my brother
had one of those).
