For my own future reference and to show how ridiculous the current rates are that most people charge.

I can get bubble envelopes from the dollar store, two for a dollar.

The actual shipping, without insurance, is about two dollars.

I started an auction and my shipping charge (of 2.50) is the lowest on the entire page of results when I do a search for that item.

This shows how bored I am, but I started seeing how many auctions there were that say something like "PS3 system new in box" and when you read the
description, it's just selling you tips on how to get a free PS3 with those various scam sites. I've been reporting these auctions and they've been
removed fairly quickly. It's somewhat satisfying.

I am so great. True, these stats only come from 10 specific sales, but I've never seen a perfect score on shipping charges before. I noticed that somebody
must have rated me less than perfect on shipping time, however, as one tiny part of the fifth star isn't filled in. I don't really get that since I
have them shipped first class within 2 days of the auction end, usually the very next day. Probably the postal service's fault.
I actually cut down the shipping cost to...

I'm guessing the more extreme cases are to avoid ebay's final value fees. Which is probably the main reason ebay will now feature items with lower
shipping before the higher priced ones in search results.

Yeah, I always try to keep costs low as possible. What's really silly are those who say it costs 1.00 for the item then charge $50 for shipping a CDROM. I
believe that's against the rules.

And that's first class. For media mail, isn't it something like $0.60?

What's great is when people charge $5 shipping, AND then ship media mail.

But I haven't bought anything on ebay since I got Fallout, I think. That was about 2 1/2 years ago.
