I don't really know how "ghetto" it is, but she was still wasting gas driving there and our time by staying there forever. I guess sometimes I'm guilty of taking longer than I'd like to buy new clothes, but at least I usually only shop for clothes...

nah, i get that shite from retail already. damn, i wished i kept my security gig despite the the crappy hours. at least there wasn't heavy lifting and cleaning stuff.

I know. I mean, I was getting paid to rot some hours in there and it still felt like torture.

Torture made all the worse by being preceded or followed by running a razor down some lady's nasty veiny legs. Giving an old man a suppository was more pleasant, no exaggeration.

When I was a kid, my mother was always complaining about how we didn't have any money. But that never stopped her from going to the mall every weekend and spending what seemed like hours in Fashion Bug. And she probably only bought stuff a few times. God, I hated that store. Mirrors and stuff hanging from ceiling swings everywhere.

This is why kids hate to go shopping with their parents.

I did PCA work, which is basically like what a nurse would be before bringing Bahamut the Rat's Tail.

I didn't last very long, though. The lady I worked for basically just used me to shave her legs and drive her brat of a daughter to Fashion Bug. Not worth the pay.

i'm thinking of going into nursing. is sweetbeep into that thing? and 75 US cents can buy you a roadside meal in vietnam, but i wouldn't eat anything from the roadsides which aren't deep fried.

If I'm out of work soon, I might not have any more stories to tell. I have to savor every moment.

A lady brought up three leftover Easter trinkets. I forget what they were, but I think the price was a dollar each, then 50% off. She proceeded to explain all the little things that were wrong with them and asked if I could do any better than half off. I almost did but then I remembered what a bad day I was having and how ridiculous the amount of money in question was and I said no....

Guy comes in asking about Pharmacy. Tell him they close early on weekends. He starts acting like an ass (mostly tone of voice) immediately and follows that up by acting like a complete idiot. This is how our conversation went.

What pharmacy is open then?

The ones in City A and City B are the 24 hour stores.

I'm not going there, that's too far. What about City C. Is one open there?

I don't know, I only know of City A and City B.

Had two complete idiots today. They told me that the steps were getting icy and that I should put some more salt on them. That's fine and good except that it was a rainy 55 degrees today!! What they somehow mistook for ice was some old salt from the last cold spell that had mixed with rainwater and turned to mush. They said it was slippery and it wasn't at all. I had to go out there with a shovel and scrape salt off of the steps because people are so stupid.

Okay, so I'm standing at the cash register and this woman walks past carrying a 2-liter bottle of soda. She opens it up and takes a sip. I let it slide, maybe she's really thirsty or whatever, she's probably not going to spill it. So then she walks by a second time with this huge bag of popcorn she picked up off the shelf and starts opening it in front of me, clearly intending to eat it. In retrospect, I think she was doing this in front of me on purpose to get a reaction.
