        <![CDATA[ I just had a childhood memory confirmed and clarified.


I used to own the DOS version of the original TMNT game, which the NES game is basically a port of. However, the DOS version was almost impossible for me to
play both due to the lack of a joystick (keyboard is just too awkward to use) and the fact that my old IBM clone ran it much too slowly. I got frustrated with
the game and started mashing on the keyboard. To my surprise, I did something that made me both invincible and able to walk... ]]>

There&#39;s a savestate or hack that lets you play whatever&#39;s after that boss, but when you beat the next boss, the same thing happens.

Okay, I know FO is gonna say this is less interesting that what she actually talked about, but I believe the NES version was the original.    Supposedly (I
don&#39;t know if this is true -- as I recall, the source was Nilet from NSider!) this was far and away Konami&#39;s best selling NES game to that point, which
must have been what inspired the numerous... ]]></description>
