        <![CDATA[ I've read a couple of reviews of Katamari Damacy (no, I'm not trying to make this thread about that particular game) that said one reason it was worth getting was because it was only $20.

I'd say &quot;only&quot; $20, because I can rarely bring myself to pay more than $20 for ANY game.  Sure, a handful of games disappear completely before getting a price drop. But any somewhat popular game will almost certainly eventually become a player's choice $20 game.

My only buffer is that I pre-order almost every game I want months in advance. 5$ per-game per paycheck doesn't hurt the pocket book too bad. Well, if a game can be beaten a rental period that lasts a week, there's nothing to be done about that.  It wouldn't be good to make games last two months just to prevent that.  <br>

			<description><![CDATA[ The problem is that Sass didn't define how long a rental period is. For some places around here, it can be a week. For others it can only be 3 days. And it can also depend on how old or popular the game is. 			<description><![CDATA[ I have a lot of trouble estimating how much time I've spent on a game if it doesn't have a built in timer. <br>

And I guess I'm really not too picky on how long a game should be versus how much money it costs. I used to be disappointed if an RPG wasn't more than 25 hours long, but  I don't pay any attention to things like that now.<br>

			<description><![CDATA[ Now that I think about it, I never actually beat a game on a rental (except the time I rented Kid Icarus and couldn't get past the second level, so I plugged in some Nintendo Power codes, including one that took me straight to the final level with invincibility).
