My guess:

Darth Yoda has a paranoid antiphishing tool bar that automatically did a WHOIS on the site, which found that the site was registered anonymously, or wasn't part of some arbitrarily "trusted" network of sites. He ignorantly - but not necessarily maliciously - jumps to the conclusion that any site like that must be a phishing site.
